Exploratory venture building a L7-first gateway SaaS platform. Designed to work cross-cloud, hybrid, and on-premises, netbrid.ge was designed to be the glue between platforms and networks with easy to use access and controls.

Advocated for, architected, and implemented time series capacities organization wide, allowing ngrok to capture request and connection events on behalf of our customers and make them available for exploration in dashboard via an easy to use interface. Mentored and supported adoption of clickhouse and kafka based event processing, storage, and querying at scale organization wide.

Reformed and reimplemented various interview processes in the ngrok engineering org, including various rewrites of existing interviews to provide better signal. Overhauled and evolved the on-call to right size it for a growing organization with multiple teams. Clarified team areas of ownership alongside the head of engineering to improve organization wide communication around responsibilities and expectations.

Worked to establish standards for SDLC process inside of the OSI (observability, security, and identity) team, including planning, translation of product requirements into engineering deliverables, and driving towards completion. Acted as mentor to multiple engineers at various stages in their careers, upleveling them and the team as a result. Helped create and promote a positive and supportive software engineering culture inside the team that supports growth and recognizes contributions across the team.

Pre-seed Hire number 2, building product and engineering team from 0 to 1. Created a remote connectivity platform MMP, proving value to customer prospects and successfully achieving a seed funding round.

Built a high quality engineering organization of 8 engineers. Established efficient coding practices, built out a technical interviewing process from the ground up, and established engineering culture from day 1.

Built a microservices, containerized remote connectivity SaaS solution, written primarily in Go and served on top of kubernetes. Multi-tenant, cloud-native, highly available, and horizontally scalable.

Engineer number 2 on a productization team turning an internal cloudflare R+D project into a fully featured, enterprise ready L4 Global Gateway. Built on top of the cloudflare network, Spectrum provides fully featured TCP/UDP connectivity with all the benefits of cloudflare protection against network based attacks.

A large majority of the work on this team was integrating Spectrum's capabilities to connect into other existing technologies at Cloudflare, like Cloudflare Workers (serverless), Cloudflare Tunnels, Argo Smart Routing (backhaul optimization), Ratelimiting, IP Access Rules, and Analytics.
